What began as a way to say ‘thank you’ to donors at fundraising events, the popular cookies inspired Jennifer Hamilton and her family to create a cookie company that will donate a portion of their profits to charity. Jennifer’s daughter, Cara, died of a terminal brain tumor at just 50 days old. Cara’s Purpose is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support and services to parents whose infants have been diagnosed with a terminal disease.
